Water Mama Circle

A monthly circle for women/non-binary folx who are in the prayer to one day be mothers.*

The longing for motherhood, and partnership, has been at the center of my prayer and healing for years. It has the taken me into some of the most vulnerable and elevated places in my heart and mind. It has brought me to my knees in surrender, pain, and prayer. I know so many brilliant, powerful, connected women who are in a similar place and I have felt so much support by being together in the payer.

In this, monthly, virtually held, circle we will gather, pray with water, listen, and be reflected. We will share our current revelations, healings, and tender points. We will be together in the grit and the grace of this big prayer to bring more life into the earth in this time.

Reciprocity: $33 financial contribution per circle.

Timing: Second Thursday of the month, from 4-5:30; Oct - Jan.

Since this group will be holding deep and personal material, it will not be open for drop-in. You will need to commit to attending all four Fall-Winter Circles: Oct 8th, Nov 12th, Dec 10th, and Jan 14th.

*I honor those who transcend the gender binary and the many ways of mothering/caregiving that humans beings offer. This group will be focused on female bodied people who have physical wombs, non binary folx welcome.

*Praxis in the Apocalypse*

A monthly circle, for teachers and homeschool parents, dedicated to creating reflective space for us to refine the ways we tend to children in the these potent times.

In this circle, we will look at our interactions with kids and our curriculum, as entry points into the transformation of old patterns towards more healthy and generative ways of being. Children have an incredible way of shining light onto the places within ourselves and our society that are needing integration. They inspire us to want to do better- so let’s!

We will all get to bring forward questions and real life examples to the circle to cooperatively explore how to integrate our values more clearly into action in our day-to-day lives.

I invite teachers and parents who are aligned with the following values / processes:

  • Integrating earth based awareness practices and land tending

  • Encouraging deep physical, emotional, and spiritual well being

  • The process of emergence in learning

  • Creativity and play as important pillars of life and learning

  • Transforming oppressive systems of colonialism, racism, patriarchy, and extraction

  • Supporting autonomy and shared power in developmentally supportive ways

  • Creating ceremonial and ritual spaces to support meaning making and healing

Reciprocity: A $22 financial contribution is requested. No one turned away for lack of funds.

1st Thursday of the month from 4:30-6:30 PST on Zoom. Drop-ins welcome, just makes sure to contact me in time to get the link!

*Praxis is defined by Paulo Freire as "reflection and action directed at the structures to be transformed." Pedagogy of the Oppressed

*An apocalypse (Ancient Greek : literally meaning "an uncovering") is a disclosure or revelation of great knowledge. In religious and occult concepts, an apocalypse usually discloses something very important that was hidden or provides what Bart Ehrman has termed, "A vision of heavenly secrets that can make sense of earthly realities". (Wikipedia)
